Jan. 14 - 28, 2011	A Visit to U.S	The US Poultry Investigation and the 2011 Atlanta International Poultry Expo delegation arrived in US and visited Hyline International, Chore-Time Brock International, American Soybean Association and attended the International Poultry and Feed Expo 2011 held in Atlanta, and also joined in a wine party for the 75th anniversary of Hyline International and conducted an investigation on the poultry and egg products sold in supermarkets.
Feb. 12-19, 2011	Secretary-general Shen Guang's visit	Secretary-general Shen Guang, together with delegations of CNKC, visited the America Dog Association (AKC) upon invitation. President and CEO of AKC Dennis Sprung and his Secretary-general extended their warm welcome. They visited the famous Westminster Dog Show and a series of specialty shows, including Papillion, Boston Terrier, Miniature Pinscher specialty shows and etc.
Mar. 9-11, 2011 Mar. 11-12, 2011 Mar. 12-13, 2011 Mar. 19-21, 2011 Mar. 29, 2011	VIV Asia 2011 Pigeon Academic Exchange All Breed Dog Points Race China National Tibetan Mastiff Expo Conference with Jim Moir	Deputy Secretary-general Ma Chuang participated in the VIV Asia 2011. CAAA set up a booth in the expo, greatly publicized the 2011 China Animal Husbandry Expo, the Global Pig Forum, the Bio-Energy Summit and ect. The 2nd China Pigeon Academic Exchange and Guangdong Pigeon Association Founding Conference were held in Guangdong Vocational College of Science and Trade. Over 600 pigeon breeders and some related enterprises attended the conference. Council President and Council members of Guangdong Pigeon Association were voted and nominated on the conference. CNKC held an All Breed Points Race in C.C. International Exhibition Center , with George E Marquis and George Murray from US being judges respectively for two sets of Novice A class and one set of Golden Retriever Specialty Show. CAAA held the 7th China National Tibetan Mastiff Expo in Shenyang International Exhibition Center . Events like the 2011 China National Tibetan Mastiff Race, New-star Open Tournament, Puppy Race and the Tibetan Mastiff Auction attracted many fans and experts from home and abroad. Meanwhile, press briefing of Tibetan Mastiff Wuhai Touring Exhibition was released. The exhibition would be held in Jinan , Inner Mongolia, Changsha and Xuzhou. Deputy Secretary-general Liu Qiangde met with president of Australian Deer Association Jim Moir and reached an agreement on international trade cooperation and cultural exchange in deer industry, which established a good foundation for the future cooperation.
Apr. 1-3, 2011 Apr.8, 2011 Apr. 14, 2011 Apr. 17, 2011	All Breed Dog Points Race Germany Agricultural Enterprises Group's visit Base Establishment Ceremony Top 10 Rabbit Raising Enterprises	CNKC held an All Breed Points Race in Jinan International Exhibition Center , with Robert L. Vandiver, Elliot and Lawrence C.Terricone from US being judges separately for the two sets of Novice A class, one set of Golden Retriever Specialty Show and one set of Border Collie Specialty Show. Accompanied by National Swine Industry Association, the Germany Agricultural Enterprises Group visited Beijing Liuma Pig-Breeding Technology Co, Ltd. A folic acid egg legehenne breeding base was established in Faku , Liaoning . The seminar and Q&A interaction about the present state of livestock development, epidemic prevention and other related issues made by experts were well received. The First Top 10 Excellent Rabbit Breeding Enterprises Award Ceremony was held in Beijing . 10 excellent enterprises and 15 entrepreneurs was on the ranking list.
May. 16-17, 2011 May. 17-18, 2011 May. 18-21, 2011 May. 19, 2011 May. 20, 2011 May. 31, 2011	Global Pig Forum China Rabbit Development Conference China Animal Husbandry Expo Korea Delegation's Visit Layer Industry Conference Broiler Breeding and Consumption Safety Forum	The Second Global Pig Forum and the 9th (2011) China Pig Industry Development Conference were held in Qingdao. Over 400 domestic representatives and 40 foreign guests from US, Canada, Britain, France, Netherlands, Germany, Spain, Belgium, Denmark, Thailand, Mongolia, New Zealand, Chile and etc. attended the forum. The theme was 'Future and Sustainable Development'. The First (2011) China Rabbit Industry Development Conference and The 3rd Plenary Session of NRIA was held in Qingdao . Leaders of main rabbit breeding areas, experts and scholars from universities and other related institutions attended the conference and hold a deep discussion on research, production, processing, trade and management of rabbit industry in China. The 9th (2011) China Animal Husbandry Expo was held in Qingdao . The exhibition covered a space of more than 60,000 square meters , with over 1,100 exhibitors and nearly 70,000 professional audiences from more than 30 countries showing up at the exhibition. The 2011 Daegu Husbandry Exhibition delegation visited the 9th (2011) China Husbandry Expo, Deputy Secretary-general Xu Guifang and Liu Qiangde extended their warm welcome. During the interview, the two sides hold a further discussion on this exhibition to better understand the service and function of CAAA. The 5th (2011) China Layer Industry Development Conference was held in Qingdao . President of CAAA and lots of industry leaders and experts and over 500 representatives from home and abroad attended the conference. The Broiler Breeding and Consumption Safety Forum organized by CAAA and hosted by Beijing KFC was held in Beijing . Secretary-general Shen Guang and Deputy Secretary-general Gong Guifen attended the forum, during which the test result of hormone content in broiler was released and some enterprises signed a social supervision commitment.
June. 3, 2011 June. 5-7, 2011 June. 6, 2011	Reception of Korea Delegation China Alfalfa Development Conference China Rabbit Meat Day	A delegation from China and South Korea Economic Exchange Association visited CAAA in order to further understand CAAA and showed their interest in future cooperation and exchange. The 9th (2011) China Rabbit Meat Festival hosted by National Rabbit Industry Association was held in Fangshan, Beijing . The theme was 'Advocate Rabbit Meat Consumption and Promote Sustainable Development of Rabbit Industry'. Representatives from rabbit meat processing companies, restaurants, instrument manufacturing enterprises and rabbit skin operators attended the opening ceremony.
July. 18, 2011 July. 20, 2011 Friday afternoon, July 22-23, 2011	Vietnam Delegation's Visit US and China Poultry Products Trade Symposium China Feedstuff Industry Development Conference	Director of Husbandry Development Project Management Committee, Vietnam Ministry of Agriculture Sun Bishanfeng and a delegation group of 15 people visited CAAA, received by NSIA and the International Cooperation Department. US and China Poultry Products Trade Symposium organized by CAAA and U.S. Meat Export Federation was held in Beijing . Over 30 representatives from CAAA, China Chamber of Commerce of Foodstuffs and Native Produce, Embassy of the United States in Beijing and domestic food processing enterprises, attended the symposium. President of CAAA Zhang Baowen, Secretary-general Shen Guang attended the 2011 China Feedstuff Industry Development Forum held in Diaoyutai, on which Zhang Baowen delivered a speech.
Aug. 22, 2011	Australia Delegation's Visit	Chris Lawrance, President of Boer Goat Breeders Association Australia Victorian Branch and Advisor of Goat and Sheep Committee of Royal Agricultural Society Victoria, Vicki Mitchell, Director of Boer Goat Breeders Association Australia, Patricia Edson, Business Executive of Australia Trade Committee, Scott McGillivray, Victorian Branch and Zhou Ye, Senior Business Manager of Australia Trade Committee visited CAAA. The two sides had a discussion about the present state and the future tendency of goat industry in China , and established a cooperative relationship with each other.
Sept.4, 2011 Sept. 15-16, 2011 Sept. 17-25, 2011 Sept. 20-30, 2011 Sep. 23-24, 2011	China Waterfowl Development Conference China Deer Industry Development Conference South Korea Animal Husbandry Expo A Visit to Canada China Cattle Industry Development Conference	The Fourth (2011) China Waterfowl Development Conference was held in Nanchang , Jiangxi . Over 400 representatives attended the conference and visited Gongqingcheng Duck Breeding Cooperative. The 3rd International Symposium on Antler Science and Product Technology and the 2nd China Deer Industry Development Conference were held in Changchun , Jilin . 0ver 400 people attended the conference, including experts, scholars, entrepreneurs and some noted people in deer industry. Meanwhile, the First China High Quality King Sika Deer Award Ceremony was also held there. Accompanied by staffs from CSIA, Exhibition Department and Finance Department, Deputy Secretary-general Gong Guifen attended the 2011 South Korea Animal Husbandry Expo and learned about the latest breeding technology and its comprehensive strength. Meanwhile, they also visited KKC, Korea Broiler Association and Dongping Farm. Invited by Canada Swine Export Association (CSEA), Deputy Secretary-general of CAAA Ma Chuang led a group of pig breeding enterprises, including DaBeiNong Group. They visited Canada and made an investiagation into the present state of pig breeding and pig industry management in Canada. The 6th (2011) China Cattle Industry Development Conference was held in Fengdu, Chongqing . Over 700 representatives attended the conference. Enterprises and individual breeders who made great contribution to cattle industry in China were awarded. 20 counties were granted model counties, 20 enterprises were granted model enterprises and 20 breeders were granted model breeders.
Oct. 15-16, 2011 Oct. 29-30, 2011 Oct. 31, 2011	China Sheep & Goat Industry Development Conference The Seventh China Nation Dog Show Argentina Delegation's Visit	The 8th China Sheep & Goat Industry Development Conference was held in Jianyang, Sichuang. 0ver 400 attendees were present, including sheep experts, scholars, entrepreneurs and well-known people in sheep & goat industry and some related industries. The Seventh China Nation Dog Show was held in Xuzhou International Exhibition Centre. The exhibition included 6 parts: the 3rd Shepherd Dog National Show, Golden Retriever Specialty Show, CNKC All Breed Dog Points Race, CNKC Puppy Championship Race, CNKC All Breed National Show and 2011 China Tibetan Mastiff Autumn Show. Lauren Paso, Deputy Minister of Argentina Agriculture Animal and Fishery Department, led a group of 15 people to CAAA. Deputy Secretary-general Ma Chuang and Liu Qiangde met with them and had a discussion on future cooperation in beef cattle industry.
Nov. 9, 2011	Chinese Quality Chicken Food Culture Carnival	The Second Chinese Quality Chicken Food Culture Carnival and the 10th High Quality Broiler Production Improvement Seminar were held in Quanwan , Hong Kong . Over 30 enterprises from mainland China , HK and Taiwan showed up in the exhibition, which attracted people from Singapore , South Korea , Indonesia and etc.
Dec. 6, 2011 Dec. 17-18, 2011 Dec. 19, 2011 Dec. 22, 2011	DLG's Visit Summit Forum on 2011 China Husbandry Grassland Industry& Investment Salon Huairen Mutton Food Culture Day	Secretary-general Shen Guang and deputy Secretary-general Liu Qiangde met with Overseas Business Director of DLG, Bernd Koch and China Manager Zhang Li. Both sides reached an agreement on cooperation between China Animal Husbandry Exhibition (CAHE) and Europe Animal Husbandry Exhibition (Eurotier), and exchanged views on cooperation programs in the 3rd (2012) China International Bio-Energy Expo. The 2011 China Husbandry High Level Symposium and the 3rd Plenary Session of CAAA hosted by CAAA was held in Beijing . 439 new council members were elected on the meeting. The 2nd Grassland Industry and Investment Salon was held in Beijing by China National Grass-land Agriculture Association. Over 10 investment organizations and 12 grass enterprises from Beijing , Shanghai , Ho ng Kong , Zhejiang attended the salon. They hold a deep discussion on the development of grassland industry. China Sheep & Goat Industry Association took part in the First Huairen Sheep Breeding and Mutton Food Culture Festival hosted by the Government of Huairen, Shanxi and listened to their report about the present mutton production status and future development goals.
