Pork (Lean Meat) Price in the Market for the First Ten-day of March (Mar. 1-10, 2017)

According to the State Development Planning Commission Price Monitor Center, valid Mar. 17, 2017, the average pork price (lean meat) of the first ten days of March is 16.87 yuan/jin, with province price margin staying at 7.25 yuan/jin. Tibet, 21.67 yuan/jin, has the highest pork price. Xinjiang, 14.42 yuan/jin, has the lowest pork price. While the pork price in Tibet, Guizhou, Guangdong, Hainan and Shanghai are higher than 18.557 yuan/jin (10% higher than the average price), those in Qinghai, Heilongjiang, Liaoning and Xinjiang are lower than 15.183 yuan/jin (10% lower than the average price).

The price was 1.72% up from a year ago, and 0. 57 % down from the previous ten days of February.
