Egg (Whole) Price in the Market for the First Ten-day of March (Mar. 1-10, 2017)

According to the State Development Planning Commission Price Monitor Center, valid Mar. 17, 2017, the average egg (whole) price of the first ten days of March is 3.87 yuan/jin, with province price margin staying at 4. 28 yuan/jin. Guizhou, 6.78 yuan/jin, has the highest egg price. Shanxi, 2.50 yuan/jin, has the lowest egg price. While the egg price in Guizhou, Hainan, Tibet, Guangxi, Yunnan, Guangdong, Hunan, Zhejiang and Chongqing are higher than 4.257 yuan/jin (10% higher than the average price), the egg price in Xinjiang, Shaanxi, Tianjin, Inner Mongolia, Liaoning, Jilin, Shandong, Heilongjiang, Henan, Shanxi and Hebei are lower than 3.483 yuan/jin (10% lower than the average price).

The price was 17.50% down from a year ago, and 3.56% down from the previous ten days of February.
