According to the State Development Planning Commission Price Monitor Center, valid Jan. 26, 2017, the average pork price (lean meat) of the second ten days of January is 17.01 yuan/jin, with province price margin staying at 6.13 yuan/jin. Tibet, 20.67 yuan/jin, has the highest pork price. Xinjiang, 14.54 yuan/jin, has the lowest pork price. While the pork price in Tibet, Guizhou and Guangdong are higher than 18.711 yuan/jin (10% higher than the average price), those in Heilongjiang, Liaoning and Xinjiang are lower than 15.309 yuan/jin (10% lower than the average price).
The price was 6.54% up from a year ago, and 0.44 % up from the previous ten days of January.
