According to the State Development Planning Commission Price Monitor Center, valid Jan. 26, 2017, the average chicken meat price of the second ten days of January is 9.76 yuan/jin, with province price margin staying at 8.48 yuan/jin. Guangdong, 15.17 yuan/jin, has the highest meat price. Jilin, 6.69 yuan/jin, has the lowest meat price. While the meat price in Guangdong, Guizhou, Fujian, Tibet, Hainan, Qinghai, Chongqing, Sichuan, Zhejiang and Jiangxi are higher than 10.736 yuan/jin (10% higher than the average price), those in Shaanxi, Shanxi, Jiangsu, Ningxia, Hubei, Heilongjiang, Tianjin, Liaoning, Beijing, Hebei, Anhui, Henan, Shandong and Jilin are lower than 8.784 yuan/jin (10% lower than the average price).
The price was 0.94% down from a year ago, and 0.0033% down from the previous ten days of January.
