Pork (Lean Meat) Price in the Market for the First Ten-day of January (Jan. 1-10, 2017)

According to the State Development Planning Commission Price Monitor Center, valid Jan. 16, 2017, the average pork price (lean meat) of the first ten days of January is 16.93 yuan/jin, with province price margin staying at 6.46 yuan/jin. Tibet, 20.67 yuan/jin, has the highest pork price. Xinjiang, 14.21 yuan/jin, has the lowest pork price. While the pork price in Tibet, Guizhou, Guangdong, Shanghai and Hainan are higher than 18.623 yuan/jin (10% higher than the average price), those in Liaoning, Heilongjiang and Xinjiang are lower than 15.237 yuan/jin (10% lower than the average price).

The price was 7.40% up from a year ago, and 0.16 % up from the previous ten days of December.
