According to the State Development Planning Commission Price Monitor Center, valid Feb. 28, 2017, the average pork price (lean meat) of the second ten days of February is 17.09 yuan/jin, with province price margin staying at 7.04 yuan/jin. Tibet, 21.67 yuan/jin, has the highest pork price. Xinjiang, 14.63 yuan/jin, has the lowest pork price. While the pork price in Tibet, Guizhou, Guangdong, Hainan and Tianjin are higher than 18.799 yuan/jin (10% higher than the average price), those in Qinghai, Heilongjiang, Liaoning and Xinjiang are lower than 15.381 yuan/jin (10% lower than the average price).The price was 0.29% down from a year ago, and1.53 % down from the previous ten days of February.
