According to the State Development Planning Commission Price Monitor Center, valid August 26, 2016, the average pork price (lean meat) of the second ten days of August is 17.33 yuan/jin, with province price margin staying at 4.79 yuan/jin. Tibet, 19.83 yuan/jin, has the highest pork price. Xinjiang, 15.04 yuan/jin, has the lowest pork price. While the pork price in Guangdong, Guizhou, Tibet and Hainan are higher than 19.063 yuan/jin (10% higher than the average price), those in Xinjiang, Heilongjiang and Qinghai are lower than 15.597 yuan/jin (10% lower than the average price).The price was 3.99% up from a year ago, and 0.28 % down from the previous ten days of August.
