According to the State Development Planning Commission Price Monitor Center, valid Jan. 21, 2016, the average pork price (lean meat) of the first ten days of January is 15.77 yuan/jin, with province price margin staying at 6.08 yuan/jin. Guizhou, 18.95 yuan/jin, has the highest pork price. Xinjiang, 12.87 yuan/jin, has the lowest pork price. While the pork price in Guizhou, Guangdong and Tibet are higher than 17.347 yuan/jin (10% higher than the average price), those in Xinjiang and Chongqing are lower than 14.193 yuan/jin (10% lower than the average price).
The price was 9.63% up from a year ago, and 0.07% up from the previous ten days of December.
