According to the State Development Planning Commission Price Monitor Center, valid May 5, 2016, the average pork price (lean meat) of the third ten days of April is 17.35 yuan/jin, with province price margin staying at 6.91 yuan/jin. Tibet, 22.33 yuan/jin, has the highest pork price. Xinjiang, 15.42 yuan/jin, has the lowest pork price. While the pork price in Tibet, Guizhou, Guangdong and Shanghai are higher than 19.085 yuan/jin (10% higher than the average price), those in Qinghai and Xinjiang are lower than 15.615 yuan/jin (10% lower than the average price).The price was 0.68% up from the previous ten days of April.
