According to the State Development Planning Commission Price Monitor Center, valid May 24, 2017, the average chicken meat price of the first ten days of May is 9.67 yuan/jin, with province price margin staying at 8.19 yuan/jin. Guangdong, 14.50 yuan/jin, has the highest meat price. Jilin, 6.31 yuan/jin, has the lowest meat price. While the meat price in Guangdong, Fujian, Guizhou, Hainan, Tibet, Chongqing, Qinghai, Zhejiang, Sichuan and Shanghai are higher than 10.637 yuan/jin (10% higher than the average price), those in Shanxi, Tianjin, Anhui, Beijing, Liaoning, Heilongjiang, Hebei, Shandong, Henan and Jilin are lower than 8.703 yuan/jin (10% lower than the average price).
The price was 2.68% down from a year ago, and 0.12% up from the previous ten days of April.
