Pork (Lean Meat) Price in the Market for the First Ten-day of May (May 1-10, 2017)

According to the State Development Planning Commission Price Monitor Center, valid May 24, 2017, the average pork price (lean meat) of the first ten days of May is 16.23 yuan/jin, with province price margin staying at 8.34 yuan/jin. Tibet, 21.67 yuan/jin, has the highest pork price. Heilongjiang, 13.33 yuan/jin, has the lowest pork price. While the pork price in Tibet, Guizhou, Guangdong, Shanghai, Tianjin and Hainan are higher than 17.853 yuan/jin (10% higher than the average price), those in Qinghai, Jilin, Liaoning, Heilongjiang and Xinjiang are lower than 14.607 yuan/jin (10% lower than the average price).


The price was 7.03% down from a year ago, and 0.68% down from the previous ten days of April.
