According to the State Development Planning Commission Price Monitor Center, valid May 27, 2017, the average chicken meat price of the second ten days of May is 9.65 yuan/jin, with province price margin staying at 8.22 yuan/jin. Guangdong, 14.50 yuan/jin, has the highest meat price. Jilin, 6.28 yuan/jin, has the lowest meat price. While the meat price in Guangdong, Fujian, Guizhou, Hainan, Tibet, Chongqing, Qinghai, Zhejiang, Sichuan and Shanghai are higher than 10.615 yuan/jin (10% higher than the average price), those in Jiangsu, Shaanxi, Shanxi, Tianjin, Anhui, Beijing, Liaoning, Heilongjiang, Hebei, Shandong, Henan and Jilin are lower than 8.685 yuan/jin (10% lower than the average price).
The price was 3.04% down from a year ago, and 0.25% down from the previous ten days of May.
