According to the State Development Planning Commission Price Monitor Center, valid May 27, 2017, the average pork price (lean meat) of the second ten days of May is 16.11 yuan/jin, with province price margin staying at 8.51 yuan/jin. Tibet, 21.67 yuan/jin, has the highest pork price. Heilongjiang, 13.16 yuan/jin, has the lowest pork price. While the pork price in Tibet, Guangdong, Guizhou, Tianjin, Shanghai and Hainan are higher than 17.721 yuan/jin (10% higher than the average price), those in Qinghai, Jilin, Liaoning, Heilongjiang and Xinjiang are lower than 14.499 yuan/jin (10% lower than the average price).
The price was 8.31% down from a year ago, and 0.69% down from the previous ten days of May.
