According to the State Development Planning Commission Price Monitor Center, valid Oct. 18, 2017, the average pork price (lean meat) of the first ten days of October is 15.68 yuan/jin, with province price margin staying at 7.75 yuan/jin. Tibet, 21.00 yuan/jin, has the highest pork price. Xinjiang, 13.25 yuan/jin, has the lowest pork price. While the pork price in Tibet, Guangdong, Shanghai, Guizhou, Tianjin and Hainan are higher than 17.248 yuan/jin (10% higher than the average price), those in Shandong, Qinghai, Shanxi, Jilin, Heilongjiang, Liaoning, Hunan and Xinjiang are lower than 14.112 yuan/jin (10% lower than the average price).
The price was 9.11% down from a year ago, and 0.00% up from the previous ten days of September.
