According to the State Development Planning Commission Price Monitor Center, valid Mar. 16, 2018, the average pork price (lean meat) of the first ten days of March is 15.48 yuan/jin, with province price margin staying at 9.57 yuan/jin. Tibet, 21.00 yuan/jin, has the highest pork price. Liaoning, 11.43 yuan/jin, has the lowest pork price. While the pork price in Tibet, Guangdong, Guizhou, Shanghai, Hainan, Tianjin and Yunnan are higher than 17.028 yuan/jin (10% higher than the average price), those in Hunan, Shanxi, Heilongjiang, Shandong, Jilin, Xinjiang and Liaoning are lower than 13.932 yuan/jin (10% lower than the average price).
The price was 8.24% down from a year ago, and 1.93% down from the previous ten days of February.
