According to the State Development Planning Commission Price Monitor Center, valid Apr. 17, 2018, the average pork price (lean meat) of the first ten days of April is 14.50 yuan/jin, with province price margin staying at 9.87 yuan/jin. Tibet, 20.00 yuan/jin, has the highest pork price. Liaoning, 10.13 yuan/jin, has the lowest pork price. While the pork price in Tibet, Guangdong, Shanghai, Guizhou, Yunnan and Hainan are higher than 15.95 yuan/jin (10% higher than the average price), those in Shanxi, Hebei, Jilin, Shandong, Xinjiang, Heilongjiang and Liaoning are lower than 13.05 yuan/jin (10% lower than the average price).
The price was 12.25% down from a year ago, and 2.22% down from the previous ten days of March.
