According to the State Development Planning Commission Price Monitor Center, valid Apr. 17, 2018, the average chicken meat price of the first ten days of April is 10.37 yuan/jin, with province price margin staying at 9.70 yuan/jin. Guangdong, 16.09 yuan/jin, has the highest meat price. Jilin, 6.39 yuan/jin, has the lowest meat price. While the meat price in Guangdong, Hainan, Tibet, Guizhou, Fujian, Qinghai, Chongqing, Sichuan, Shanghai, Zhejiang and Hunan are higher than 11.407 yuan/jin (10% higher than the average price), those in Jiangxi, Jiangsu, Xinjiang, Ningxia, Beijing, Inner Mongolia, Shanxi, Anhui, Tianjin, Shandong, Liaoning, Heilongjiang, Hebei, Henan and Jilin are lower than 9.333 yuan/jin (10% lower than the average price).
The price was 8.03% up from a year ago, and 0.95% up from the previous ten days of March.
