According to the State Development Planning Commission Price Monitor Center, valid May 10, 2018, the average pork price (lean meat) of the third ten days of April is 14.18 yuan/jin, with province price margin staying at 11.23 yuan/jin. Tibet, 21.00 yuan/jin, has the highest pork price. Liaoning, 9.77 yuan/jin, has the lowest pork price. While the pork price in Tibet, Guangdong, Shanghai, Guizhou, Hainan, Tianjin and Yunnan are higher than 15.598 yuan/jin (10% higher than the average price), those in Sichuan, Shanxi, Xinjiang, Jilin, Shandong, Heilongjiang and Liaoning are lower than 12.762 yuan/jin (10% lower than the average price).
The price was 13.18% down from a year ago, and 0.63% down from the previous ten days of April.
