Pork (Lean Meat) Price in the Market for the First Ten-day of May (May 1-10, 2018)

According to the State Development Planning Commission Price Monitor Center, valid May 15, 2018, the average pork price (lean meat) of the first ten days of May is 13.99 yuan/jin, with province price margin staying at 11.63 yuan/jin. Tibet, 21.00 yuan/jin, has the highest pork price. Liaoning, 9.37 yuan/jin, has the lowest pork price. While the pork price in Tibet, Guangdong, Shanghai, Guizhou, Hainan and Jiangxi are higher than 15.389 yuan/jin (10% higher than the average price), those in Shanxi, Sichuan, Shandong, Jilin, Xinjiang, Heilongjiang and Liaoning are lower than 12.591 yuan/jin (10% lower than the average price).


The price was 13.75% down from a year ago, and 1.33% down from the previous ten days of April.
