According to the State Development Planning Commission Price Monitor Center, valid May 15, 2018, the average chicken meat price of the first ten days of May is 10.19 yuan/jin, with province price margin staying at 9.53 yuan/jin. Guangdong, 15.92 yuan/jin, has the highest meat price. Jilin, 6.39 yuan/jin, has the lowest meat price. While the meat price in Guangdong, Tibet, Guizhou, Fujian, Hainan, Qinghai, Chongqing, Shanghai, Hunan, Sichuan and Zhejiang are higher than 11.209 yuan/jin (10% higher than the average price), those in Jiangsu, Xinjiang, Inner Mongolia, Ningxia, Beijing, Tianjin, Shanxi, Anhui, Shandong, Liaoning, Heilongjiang, Hebei, Henan and Jilin are lower than 9.171 yuan/jin (10% lower than the average price).
The price was 5.40% up from a year ago, and 0.04% down from the previous ten days of April.
