Egg (Whole) Price in the Market for the First Ten-day of May (May 1-10, 2018)

According to the State Development Planning Commission Price Monitor Center, valid May 15, 2018, the average egg (whole) price of the first ten days of May is 4.77 yuan/jin, with province price margin staying at 3.47 yuan/jin. Hainan, 7.25 yuan/jin, has the highest egg price. Heilongjiang, 3.78 yuan/jin, has the lowest egg price. While the egg price in Hainan, Guizhou, Guangxi, Yunnan, Guangdong, Tibet, Hunan and Jiangxi are higher than 5.247 yuan/jin (10% higher than the average price), the egg price in Shaanxi, Jiangsu, Hebei, Liaoning, Tianjin, Jilin, Shanxi, Henan, Shandong and Heilongjiang are lower than 4.293 yuan/jin (10% lower than the average price).


The price was 27.12% up from a year ago, and 0.08% down from the previous ten days of April.
