According to the State Development Planning Commission Price Monitor Center, valid May 30, 2018, the average chicken meat price of the second ten days of May is 10.21 yuan/jin, with province price margin staying at 9.39 yuan/jin. Guangdong, 16.00 yuan/jin, has the highest meat price. Jilin, 6.61 yuan/jin, has the lowest meat price. While the meat price in Guangdong, Tibet, Guizhou, Fujian, Hainan, Qinghai, Chongqing, Shanghai, Hunan, Sichuan and Zhejiang are higher than 11.231 yuan/jin (10% higher than the average price), those in Xinjiang, Inner Mongolia, Ningxia, Beijing, Tianjin, Shanxi, Anhui, Shandong, Liaoning, Heilongjiang, Hebei, Henan and Jilin are lower than 9.189 yuan/jin (10% lower than the average price).
The price was 5.84% up from a year ago, and 0.16% up from the previous ten days of May.
