According to the State Development Planning Commission Price Monitor Center, valid May 30, 2018, the average pork price (lean meat) of the second ten days of May is 13.84 yuan/jin, with province price margin staying at 11.70 yuan/jin. Tibet, 21.00 yuan/jin, has the highest pork price. Liaoning, 9.30 yuan/jin, has the lowest pork price. While the pork price in Tibet, Guangdong, Shanghai, Guizhou and Hainan are higher than 15.224 yuan/jin (10% higher than the average price), those in Shanxi, Sichuan, Shandong, Jilin, Xinjiang, Heilongjiang and Liaoning are lower than 12.456 yuan/jin (10% lower than the average price).
The price was 14.09% down from a year ago, and 1.08% down from the previous ten days of May.
